Initiate lair bosses include foes like Beast in the Ice, Grigoire, Lord Zir, Varshan, and Urivar, with the latter only accessible to players who own the Vessel of Hatred.

The Greater lair bosses feature Andariel, Duriel, and the Harbinger of Hatred, also limited to Vessel of Hatred owners.

Exalted lair bosses are represented by Belial, the Lord of Lies, standing at the highest difficulty level.

To challenge any lair boss, players must set the game to at least Torment difficulty I or higher.

The method of obtaining loot from lair bosses has changed significantly. Summoning bosses no longer requires boss materials, and defeating them yields a treasure chest called a hoard. Each player must use their own boss materials to open their hoard, making loot distribution more individualized.

The first unique item from a lair boss will always be selected from its specific unique pool. Subsequent unique items have a 50% chance to be from the general pool, increasing the variety of potential drops.

In multiplayer sessions, the chances of acquiring additional unique items are improved. For every extra party member, there is a 33% chance for the lair boss to drop an extra unique from its pool.

While lair bosses now drop five unique items at Torment IV difficulty, the previous drop count of six has been reduced.

Accessing a lair boss’s hoard requires a specific key, which varies per boss. Examples include the Malignant Heart for Varshan, Living Steel for Grigoire, and Distilled Fear for Beast in the Ice. All initiate lair bosses have a chance to drop a Stygian Stone, which can be converted into any Greater lair boss key of your choosing. These keys can be stacked up to 99, allowing for efficient farming and key management.

Boss Lair Locations and Features

Discover the locations of boss lairs, which serve as the domains for formidable lair bosses, marked distinctly on the map with special icons for easy identification.

Upon locating a lair, players can teleport directly to it, streamlining the journey to these challenging encounters.

Map descriptions for each boss lair detail the specific hoard keys needed and indicate whether the player currently possesses enough to access the lair.

Newly introduced powerful unique gear and legendary aspects are now available, enhancing your demon-slaying capabilities to new heights.

Please note that the PTR boost NPC will be unavailable on March 11th and 12th during the PTR testing period.

Since the Season of Witchcraft update, the PTR boost NPC in Kyovashad has received several enhancements:

• The return of Belial introduces new unique items into the game.
• The paragon level cap has increased from 200 to 300, allowing further character development.

• Maxing all aspects in the Codex of Power.
• Generating legendary items tailored for different classes and builds.
